The fine print

Per K.S.A. 65-1117 and K.A.R. 60-9-105/106/107. No mandatory topics. First-renewal exemption: no CNE required if the license expires within 30 months of initial licensure by examination, or within 9 months of licensure by endorsement or reinstatement. Accepted CNE includes providers approved by KSBN, by other state boards of nursing, or by national nursing credentialing associations (ANCC-accredited providers qualify); 1 college credit hour = 15 contact hours; online and independent-study CE count when offered by an approved provider.
