The fine print

Rule 64B4-6.001 F.A.C. No CE is required for the first renewal. A maximum of 6 of the 30 hours may be non-clinical/administrative. One-time licensure (not renewal) requirements: 8-hour laws and rules course, 3-hour HIV/AIDS course, and the domestic violence course within 6 months. The 1-hour human trafficking CE in s. 456.0341 does NOT apply to chapter 491 licensees. All CE is tracked in CE Broker and reviewed at renewal. Approved sources include Board-approved providers and national entities listed in Rule 64B4-6.002 (ASWB, NASW, APA, NBCC, and others). Licenses expire March 31 of odd years. The same rule covers the board's LMFT and LMHC licensees.

Does nationally accredited CE count in Florida?

Yes — Florida accepts continuing education from nationally accredited providers, so courses from an accredited provider like the ones on Pulse count toward your renewal.
