The fine print

Renewal is annual; the CE reporting period runs September 1 through August 31. Applies to all credential levels (RSW, LMSW, CSW, LCSW). Distance learning is capped at 10 of the 20 annual hours. Acceptable CE includes programs from social work licensing bodies, state and national professional social work organizations, CSWE-accredited schools, and ASWB-approved entities. First-year requirements are prorated by month of initial credentialing.

Does nationally accredited CE count in Louisiana?

Yes — Louisiana accepts continuing education from nationally accredited providers, so courses from an accredited provider like the ones on Pulse count toward your renewal.
